Late Sri Thimmiri Narasimharao — Legendary Art Educator & State Awardee, (July 01, 1957 – August 31, 2020)

Sri Thimmiri Narasimharao was an eminent artist and dedicated Drawing Teacher who served for over 32 years in Andhra Pradesh. In recognition of his exceptional contribution to art education, he was honored with the State Best Teacher Award in 2007 by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy. Throughout his career, he trained thousands of students, created a family dynasty of fine artists, and achieved international recognition through record-breaking art workshops.

Primary Education: K.V. Agraharam, Chimakurthy Mandal, Prakasam District
Secondary Education (6th–10th): Zilla Parishad High School (ZPHS), Podili
Technical Qualification: Completed the A.P. Government Technical Teacher Certificate (TTC) Course in Drawing at Guntur in 1984, receiving the official Drawing Teacher Certificate.
3. Career & Contributions
After completing his secondary education, Sri Narasimharao pursued commercial art as his primary vocation and established "RAVI ARTS" in Ongole. He gained renown for crafting portraits, banners, hand-painted wall posters, signboards, and cinema slides.
Teaching Career: Cleared the District Selection Committee (DSC) exam in 1986 and was appointed as a Government Drawing Teacher in July 1986 at Z.P.H. School, Sakhavaram, V.V. Palem Mandal, Prakasam District.
Service: Dedicated 32 years to educating school students in visual arts and hosted annual summer art training workshops.
Jury & Mentorship: Served as a official Judge for numerous District-level and State-level drawing competitions.
