The participation process is much simplified, the fee is affordable.
⚡️ The “RENAISSANCE” International Biennale Exhibition and Competition in Republic of Moldova brings together artists from around the world working in watercolor, oil/acrylic painting, and graphic arts!

📅 Exhibition dates: 18 December 2026 — 1 January 2027.

🎭 Details of the opening ceremony and workshops will be announced at a later date.
📷 No shipping or customs complications!
Simply send us a high-resolution digital image of your artwork, suitable for printing at exhibition size at 300 dpi, and we will produce a high-quality exhibition print using professional-grade materials and ensure it is professionally displayed. There is no need to ship the original artwork.

Please include your full name, country, artwork title, medium and competition category, year of creation, and IWS membership status.
✅ If your work is selected, you will receive confirmation of participation and payment instructions.
🎨 Theme: Open — feel free to express your creativity through any subject.
📏 Format: Artworks of any size and format are welcome, in landscape or portrait orientation. The size of the original artwork does not matter. The main requirement is a high-quality digital image suitable for printing at exhibition size at 300 dpi.
Approximate exhibition print sizes:
🎨 Watercolor — 38 × 56 cm or 56 × 38 cm.
🎨 Oil / Acrylic — +/- from 25 to 80 cm in width and height.
🎨 Graphic Arts — +/- from 20 to 60 cm in width and height.
🏆 MAIN AWARDS:
🏆 TOTAL AWARD FUND — €1,500!
🎁 The jury will select one winner in each category:
WATERCOLOR — €500
OIL / ACRYLIC — €500
GRAPHIC ARTS — €500
🎨 Artworks will be evaluated by an international jury of professionals.
Head of the Jury — Atanur Dogan, Founder and President of the International Watercolor Society (IWS).
💰 Entry fees:
— €50 / IWS member (for one artwork).
— €60 / artist who is not an IWS member (for one artwork).
Entry fees for two artworks:
— €90 / IWS member (for two artworks).
— €100 / artist who is not an IWS member (for two artworks).
🇲🇩 Artists from the Republic of Moldova are eligible for a special entry fee of €20 per artwork.
👥 For IWS Leaders:
🆓 Free participation for the leader — if you bring 5 or more artists to participate.
— €25 for the leader’s participation — if you bring fewer than 5 artists.

After payment, send proof of payment to the same email address.
🌐 EXHIBITION CATALOGUE + CERTIFICATE OF PARTICIPATION
The exhibition catalogue and certificate of participation will be provided in digital format.
The catalogue will feature participants’ artworks, information about the artists, and photographs of the works on display. Each participant will receive access to the online catalogue and a certificate of participation.

Exhibition prints produced by the organizers will remain with the organizers after the exhibition ends and may be used in future exhibitions, cultural events, and promotional presentations, with the artists credited.
